ICWL Meets

The locations for meets are still being finalized with the ICWL, but the dates and times should be accurate.

No BYW member is required or even pressured to go to any meet. You can go at the pace of your life and your child's interest. This is one of the nice things about wrestling when compared to other sports.
ICWL requires a wrestler to attend 4 of the 7 meets to be able to compete in the ICWL Open Or ICWL Novice championships. Reasonable exceptions can be made.
There is no requirement to go to any meets to be part of the BYW.

Tournament Schedule 2023-2024

BYW Tournament Squad

Throughout the year, we try to put together groups of wrestlers and coaches to attend tournaments in the area.

These tournaments are optional and parents are generally responsible for registering their own kids. In the case where BYW takes care of the registration, we will let you know here or on TeamSnap.
If the tournament appears here, we will have coaches there to help on the mat. Its possible there may not be enough coaches to cover every match, but we will communicate all of that information ahead of time.
Some tournaments will have Novice and Girls brackets. Some will not. We will communicate that information before hand.

Bensalem Youth Wrestling Tournament

This is our own tournament. We will have have novice, open, and girls brackets. Every BYW member gets free admission into this tournament.

This is an Open Tournament, not recommended for first-years (novices).

CRWA Indian Open

We don't know much about this tournament yet. Stay tuned. They usually have open and novice brackets.

Keystone Southeast Regional Qualifier

This is a very competitive tournament, and is required if you want to attend the Keystone Championships in Reading this year.

PJW Area XI Qualifier

This is a very competitive tournament, and is required if you want to attend the the PJW Championships in Pittsburgh. We don't know anything about this tournament except that it will happen in Mid February.
