- Open Boys and Girls: Medals for 1st - 3rd
- Novice: Medals for 1st - 4th
Age Groups:
- Tot: 6 and under (Novice Only)
- Bantam: 8 and under (Novice and Open)
- Midget: 10 and under (Novice and Open)
- Junior: 12 and under (Novice and Open)
* Cut off for age groups is 12/31/2023
What is a Novice?
A novice is a wrestler that
- is in their 1st or 2nd year
- has never placed in an open tournament
Tournament Rules
- Bout times will be 1-1-1.
- A singlet or two piece wrestling uniform must be worn.
- Any skin condition must have proper physician’s paperwork.
- Birth certificates may be required if age is contested.
- We will be verifying with USAW that the westler qualifies as a novice.
Costs
Registration Fee: $35 (No refunds)
Admission: $10 for adults, $3 for students
You must have a USAW Folkstyle Membership.
- If you do not have either of these, you can purchase a 1-Day Card for $8 at registration time.
Weigh-ins
- February 3rd: Saturday
- 6:00 - 8:00 PM
- February 4th: Sunday
- 6:00 - 8:00 AM (Morning Sessions)
- 10:00 - 12:00 AM (Afternoon Session
All Wrestlers must weigh-in prior to session starting. Once weigh-ins close, any wrestler who has not weighed in will be scratched.

Registration Instructions
For Coaches:
- Click on the registration link above.
- Click on "Search Profiles".
- Enter the USAW ID for your wrestler.
- Click "Search Profile".
- Then Click "Select Profile".
- Select Division.
- Select Your team from dropdown.
- Enter Emergency Contact
- Select Medical Treatment Options.
- Click "Save and add more wrestlers" or "Save and Continue to Checkout."
- Once you have registered all your wrestlers, Follow the links to the checkout and enter your credit card information.
For parents:
- You will first be prompted to log in to USAW or to create a USAW account.
- You will need your child's USAW account number. You may need to ask your child's coach or purchase a 1 day wrestling card.
- Once you have your USAW ID, Click on the registration link above.
- Select the profile you would like to register.
- Select Division.
- Select Your team from dropdown.
- Enter Emergency Contact
- Select Medical Treatment Options.
- Click "Save and add more wrestlers" or "Save and Continue to Checkout."
- Once you have registered all your wrestlers, Follow the links to the checkout and enter your credit card information.
